everyday magic and the porcelain boxes was an attempt to create unexpected meetings between people in everyday situations and little porcelain boxes in unusual places. Porcelain is a material with a strong tradition as something valuable that you often encounter as tableware or figurines on pedestals. Little things are often seen as something precious. The little boxes, made by the artist, were placed in locations typical to everyday life; a buss stop, a garbage room, a laundry room and so on. In some cases the boxes were watched from a distance to see what happened when people found them. A few got thrown away, some were investigated by curious passers-by and then replaced, some simply disappeared.
